Qik brings video recording and streaming to iPhone without jail breaking

Video recording on iPhone has been a feature that has been keenly awaited. This feature has not been available on legit iPhones. However, there are many such applications which can be used on JailBroken iPhones. However, there seems to be some light at the end of the tunnel with a legitimate application now coming to iPhone.

Qik, is likely to hit the Apple store soon and bring the functionality of video recording on iPhone. Only this time it would be legitimately. Qik, will also bring the feature of broadcasting yourself to the world live from your iPhone.

It’s pretty ironical that a wonderful phone (iPhone) which is highly capable of unleashing video and video related features hasn’t yet got a legitimate iPhone application that could take advantage of this. Hopefully, Qik will be able to bring this to iPhone. However, the question remains; will iPhone get all the applications some day so that people don’t have to jail break their phone? We’ll have to wait and watch!
