Flock 2.0: How to install Flock 2 on Ubuntu in 2 easy steps
There’s always a lot of argument and debate about which is the best browser. The debate continues but each of the browsers out there are wonderful in their own sense. Whether it is Firefox, Opera, Chrome or Flock. Did I deliberately miss Internet Explorer? No offense but I’d like to stay away from using Internet Explorer from my own logic and experience. But this post is not about which is the best browser or comparison of any sort.
Flock 2 has been released and the new version has some great improvements and has new features. You can check what’s new in Flock 2 here. The browser which boasts of being the best social browser out there in the market has come a long way and has a place on my machine in both Windows Vista and Ubuntu. So, how do you install flock 2 on your ubuntu machine?
Installation on debian based linux like Ubuntu has become so easier with all popular applications having their deb packages available as soon as the release. Flock is not far behind. If you are planning to download Flock 2 from their official site, it’s not a great idea as there’s no deb package their and you have to install flock 2 manually.
However, now you can get flock deb package and install it in 2 easy steps.
- Download the Flock 2 deb package here.
- Double click the downloaded flock deb package enter your admin password and click Install Package.
That’s it with in a few seconds you’ll have flock installed on your Ubuntu machine.
