Windows code name 7 will official be called as Windows 7
Microsoft’s next release of client side operating system is another much awaited products. With all the leaked screenshots and enhancement of native applications like Paint and Notepad. We did a post on this earlier and you can read the story here. However, the purpose of this quick post is to inform our readers that the official name of next version of Windows which was code named Windows 7 is actually going to be Windows 7.
What this means that for a change Microsoft will not try a fancy name like Vista for it’s next version of Operating System. This is what Mike Nash had to say about the Windows 7.
And, as you probably know, since we began development of the next version of the Windows client operating system we have been referring to it by a codename, “Windows 7.”
