Download Android SDK 1.0 and Get to Work for October 22nd Shipping!

Android SKD 1.0 ReleasedGoolgle launched Android SDK 1.0 recently. So far developers were not particularly happy about SDK’s lack public update, but we see a few smiles flashing with the latest release of .

The latest release is out of beta which means that the android application developers do not have to make major changes to their software to be compatible with Android’s SDK updates.

The shipping of T-Mobile’s G1 is on track and the set date is 22nd of October. Developers will be hard at work to be the first ones to make their applications available on the phone.

The openness of Android platform which lacks, will attract a lot of developers to develop applications for Android. However, the sheer power of gigantic user base gives an edge to over Android, which is expected to change with time.

Applications will be available for free on Android market initially, however developers will be able to sell their applications on the Android Market later. will let developers keep everything they make by selling applications unlike which gets a 30% from the sales of any application.
