What the Font

By the end of this article you will be able to figure out what fonts are used on your favorite logo or in a document or literally anywhere and download them for free.

No matter what the concept is or how many businesses have already tried it, innovation is something which helps beat the competition, set new benchmarks for the competitors and creates a brand.

On that note, let’s take a look at a service which sounds like meme or a meto service but offers something unique, interesting and very helpful.

Myfonts.com offers a unique feature called “What the font” which helps you find out what is used or at least find you very similar looking fonts.

All you have to do is capture the font in the image format, much like a screenshot of the font and upload it to What the font  ….. Kabooommmmm!! The service identifies the fonts in the image and offers you to correct it if required. Once the identification of characters is confirmed, it shows you a list of similar fonts. The UI where users can compare the fonts with the image they uploaded is very thoughtful and intuitive which lets the users compare the fonts easily.

As shown in the picture you can either upload the font image or just point it to the URL of the image.
