Are the famous bloggers consistent?-What are they writing?

What is the one most important feature of a good blog? That the blog should host great quality content, agreed! That it should be updated regularly, agreed! That it should listen to it’s readers, agreed! But IMHO (And I don’t wish to force it on anyone), I think a good blog is one that sticks to the theme, religiously. After all it has the responsibility to give it’s reader, what they expect out of the blog. Consistency for me is the name of the game. Even, for the best of blogs, I don’t think they should ever indulge in distracting from their theme in spite of good money.
What we are going to do here is to, see what famous blogs emphasis on and what are the topics they just linger to. If I were to use a research terminology I’d say we are going to do a bit of content analysis with these really good and famous blogs. What we are going to bring you is a technology interpretation of what’s the most commonly talked topic on a particular blog. For this we are going to need 2 things:
- A list of famous blogs
- Wordle, a technology that generates word clouds for sites based on content.
