Technorati Acquires BlogCritics

Post their launch of Technorati Media in June 2008, Technorati is moving fast to expand it’s advertising presence and has acquired the blog network firm, blogcritics.org. A network with over 2000 bloggers, 70, 000 articles and over a million unique hits in a month, blogcritics could turn out to be an advertising goldmine for technorati.

It would be however, interesting to see if the blogs content of technorati would cannibalise the blog content from blogcritics or for that matter other way round. Also, how the database of readers on blogcritics will react to this acquisition.
