YouTube for Cracked Softwares, Keys, Keygens We have been visiting YouTube to view and enjoy videos. Now you can put YouTube to a new use, cracked keys, serials and keygens for all popular softwares. iPhone cracking video demo or Adobe Photoshop cs3 cracking demo both fall under the same category, warez, which by law is illegal.

I have seen such videos grow from hundreds to thousands for almost all popular softwares. Though YouTube policy pages, community guidelines or DMCA do not mention anything about warez in specific, I flagged one of the videos (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0y4eEDJwGPA) for review under copyright abuse. Lets wait and watch if this video goes off YouTube.

Fore Example you can find, iPhone crack, Dreamweaver Cracks, Microsoft Office Crack, Windows Crack key, etc.. for each of these keywords YouTube videos rank first.

Why are these videos being uploaded to YouTube and not warez sites? Warez distributors want these softwares to be downloaded by as many users as possible because most keygens and key generating softwares are infected by Trojans, Worms and Virus which once installed comprimises machines security.

YouTube has premium content and each URL on YouTube carries a lot of value in terms of PageRank. To top that, Google’s unervisal search pattern pushes this content right on top in its efforts to blend Videos, Images, News, etc… for a better users experience. Thats exactly why these videos are being created on YouTube because the chances of making to the top are more when compared to any other warez site.

I hope YouTube makes a note of it and does somethign about it OR wait until one of these software companies slap Google with a law suite, that wont be pretty!
