What do you do when you have 10 sites where you’d like to keep your fans/followers updated with what you are doing, or what do you do when Twitter is down ??

You sign up with Ping.fm, thats what you do!

Ping.fm is one of the best, easiest and most useful service I have used recently. It make is really easy to keep your profiles on Facebook, hi5, MySpace, Plaxo Pulse, Plurk, Pownce, Tumblr, Twitter, Xanga, etc.. not only that but you can update your status on all these profiles by sending just one message from anywhere. For example you can send a message from AOL Instant Messenger, Google Talk (GTalk), iGoogle Gadget, Facebook Application, iPhone Web App, Mobile App (WAP), etc..

Ping.fm is currently running in beta and is not open to new users. Ping.fm is adding new services to the list by the day making it easy for its users to keep their profiles updated. Ping.fm offers a feature called "Triggers" which lets you post to specific services every time a message is posted and trigger is invoked.

While posting you can also choose if you would like to Update Status, Blog or Micro-Blog and it simply does it for you..
