Sergey Brin Goes to Space That’s how one of the Google’s co-founder will look like in the time to come (2011). Sergey Brin just got himself a ticket for flying into space on Space Adventures shuttle.

Here is what he had to say about it

“I am a big believer in the exploration and commercial development of the space frontier, and am looking forward to the possibility of going into space.”

The trip is scheduled in 2011 and Sergey bought one of the two seats available on the spacecraft, however, it is also said that the space tourism program might end in 2009 as Vitaly Lopota, the president of Energia, the Russian spacecraft company, said that he was not a great fan of space tourism and the space craft was not built for tourist but to help people on earth. As the team of astronaut’s grows the tourist seats will be take off the trip, which is likely to happen in 2009.
