Indian Movie Rentals – Rent Hindi, English, Telugu, Tamil, etc.. DVD’s and VCD’s

Indian Movie RentalsI have been getting calls from seventymm.com like crazy. I decided to dive in and take a peek at how big Indian Movie Rentals industry is. To my surprise the industry is bigger than I thought and it will get bigger in the time to come with more sites offering similar services and more users going online to order their favorite stack of movies for the weekend.

The only Online I was aware of were 1) Seventymm.com and 2) BigFlix.com but it turns out that there are few more offering similar services online.

Following is the list of sites which offer online Movie Rentals in India

Few things most of the above mentioned services have in common are 1) Subscriptions based on number of movies you can order at a time 2) Free Home Delivery 3) Rental period is based on movie release date, so if its a latest release then the rental period is limited and usually short and if its old then the rental period is unlimited and 4) Best Movie collection which is obviously debatable.

After looking through these services, I zeroed in on the 2Discs quarterly plan from BigFlix, it seemed reasonable. BigFlix clearly has an edge over other services as a BigFlix is part of Reliance ADA Group which obviously has BIG money on BigFlix.

Online Movie Rentals are the next big thing. Before you register with any of the services mentioned above, do visit all the sites and chose the one you like.

    hello

[...] our Online Indian Movie Rental review article we recommended BIGflix as a better service but we are certainly looking forward to [...]

Likwise!... I feel BIGFlix has got amazing hosts of services at their end...the highlight of their service would be the unlimited access of movies across all plans offered....They have 15000 titles and have huge libraries across 10 cities now....

Moreover when you walk in to a BIGflix store it gives a very feel good factor.. when well clad store asscoiates in uniforms..neatly designed racks for DVDs for easy access.. and last but not the least a kiosk in the store which allows u to access ur account for queing up moviess...

Way to BIGFlix.. its all about scale and presence for the masses...

I think scale and presence is all that matters, like I mentioned in our latest article Seventymm is likely to have more visible presence partnering with Reliance Fresh than compared to BIGFlix

Good initiative by seventymm to extend their online presence to offline as well...To ealborate on BIGFlix offline presence apart from their online presence, the company currently has 50+ stores in 10 cities and plans to have 200+ stores in minimum 10 cities by mar 09. The company has aggressive plans with regards to expnsion in tier II cities as well to cater to the not so tech savvy masses there.

What's your thoughts on IndiaHutHouse.com in US. They are the biggest Indian Online rental in US with the biggest collection.

With the current prices of dvd vcd retail should be the way to go.

I've found that netflix has a lot of bollywood and indian films as well. They are missing some of the more popular classic indian films such as K3G, Dhoom, and Mohabbatein
