FontStruct is one of the online services where you can get creative and design your own fonts and share it with your friends or even put them up for free downloads.

It’s a flash based utility which lets you create and design fonts. I never knew designing fonts could get so easy. All your work will be saved in “My FontStruct” where you can also set preferences for each creation and decide if you want to share it with your friends online. “Gallery” lets you browse through others creations and also let you download them.

Fonts showing on the gallery can be cloned and modified; however, cloned fonts will always carry their original author’s name.

These fonts can be downloaded for free and as they come in TrueType fonts they can be installed on Windows and Mac OSX. You will have to use font format converters if you are looking for other formats.

FontStruct lets you display fonts on other sites and webpages just like videos from Youtube can be embedded on other sites. Following is an example of an embedded font.
