Camtasia Screen RecorderTechSmith, makers of Snagit recently released 5. is a screen recording software which comes with an editor similar to Windows Movie Editor.

It is one of the best software’s which will help you quickly create professional looking videos with lot of interactivity embedded within the video.  The software offers lot of features like adding logos, voice, audio, titles, captions, etc.. to the video.

can deliver the video in different formats like Flash, Windows Media Player (WMV), Quick Time (MOV), AVI, RealPlayer, mp3 and iPod or you can select from the presets Web, CD, Blog and iPod and the video will be created accordingly.

    It also has a free version I believe. But the only drawback I see in this is...the file size of the recordings are very heavy. A simple 20-30 seconds recording is about 25mb.

    Hey DWiner, It mostly depends on the file format. For example the video you see on this article is of 1 minute 30 seconds and the file size is 7 MB because it is in SWF format, but if it was in avi then the file size would have gone up considerably. -Abbas
