Youth Commits Suicide Youth killed himself for his girlfriend on the webcam. A 20 year old youth named Kartik hanged himself in front of the webcam after a heated conversation with his girlfriend. This incident happened on Friday in Delhi in the guys hostel room. His friends and contacts state that he had withdrawn himself from the group in the last couple of week and has been under a lot of distress.

Police is now investigating if the suicide was abetted as it is punishable under Section 306 Indian Penal code.

Such incidents are indicative of the growing disturbing relationships in the society. I think such relationships (affairs) should be recognized and protected by law as long as there is proof of relationship so that people involved in such relationships act more responsibly are accountable towards each other.
