Color Picker Picking colours can be tricky and can take a long time to decide upon a colour scheme. If you are as choosy as I am about colours then here are a few tools which will help you select colours from WebSites, Blogs, Applications, Desktops, etc… because you never know where you’ll see your favorite color.

ColorPic: First in the list is Colour Picker utility called ColorPic. Its fairly simple in use and does help you create a scheme by picking different colors. It lets you create new color profiles or schemes and save old ones. It also displays already saved color schemes in a very nice grid format.

Color Cop: Next in the list is a Color Picker called Color Cop. This is the easiest to use utility for picking colors from the web or anywhere else. File size of this application is less than 100KB’s and does not need installation, all you have to do is just run the .exe file and start picking colors. Though Color Cop does not offer a lot of options when compared to ColorPic I prefer using Color Cop over ColorPic because of its small size and it other options.

Online Color Pickers:
Following sites offer features to create color schemes or help you choose colors from the pallet, however, none of these sites let you pick colors from elsewhere.

Another fine color picker utility is called Kuler from Adobe. It creates really smart color schemes based on your selected options.
