Google PageRank Update – March – 2008

I noticed Google PageRank on my site updated today. Thought I am not a PageWanker, I’d like to keep an eye on Google’s rating for my blog.
There are a series of services which offer checking PR from multiple Google data centers. Such services will be helpful only incase the PR is just updated and not all the datacenters share the same information.

On the eve of April fools day Google updated the toolbar page rank again on 1st April 2009. This time they filtered more back links. Previously i have around 70 now i have less back links for my site http://www.cybex.in. However site rank well on all top keywords. It seems google backlinks scheme updated too. It still loves article links as i did for my site. I implemented news section and rss feeds on the site which rocks well and may be the reason of ranking my all keywords.

so if we lost page rank do the search rankings go down too?
