Network18 is one of the companies which I personally think will solve common mans common e-life problems in India and that’s exactly where the money is. I have seen a lot of internet and a gazillion business models and I think Network18 is certainly in the right direction; however, their success will be the reminder of their continual innovation in the field of internet technology in India.
One of the sites owned by Network18 is BookMyShow. Its and online ticket booking system which started with movie tickets only but now it offers more, it offers tickets for concerts and theatre.
The only option to book tickets so far was on the internet. Now you can download a mobile application from http://m.bookmyshow.com and book movie tickets on mobile phone. I have used this application and I found it to be really simple and easy to use. I encountered a few server errors; I think they must have been because of the slow GPRS speed.
This application is worth a try and comes really handy when you want to book tickets on the fly.

there are other mob apps in the market which let you book movie tix.. the best one in the breed and by now ,far ahead of its competitors, is this app called NGPay .. awesome product .. not only does it let you book your tix securely in most of the multiplexes but also lets you pay your phone bills, book travel tix, gift flowers, order food, make donations all through your cellphone .. guys, try it out .. go to ngpay.com to download it..
bookmyshow.com has launched it wap site-http://wap.bookmyshow.com & i think its d most convenient way to book tickets on the mobile.I think its a rocking service.They are ticketing for all latest concert,plays,movies & sports (ICL).
I was recently surfing the net for booking my movie tickets online & i came across this site-www.bookmyshow.com where i could not only see movie/showtime information in multiple cinemas but could also book online for my favourite cinema.I even got a chance to select my favourite seats. To add to my suprise i got a discount on movie tickets with my credit card.Had i come across this site a little earlier i wouldn't have had to go hunting for tickets on multiple cinema sites.Imagine how tedious it can get!!!
I have even downloaded & transacted on Bookmyshow's mobile application & i think its made ticket booking so convinient.
Bookmyshow is definately a site to look for Movie,Play & Concert tickets.
