Yahoo fights phishing
Yahoo is planning to combat “Phishing attacks” through emails with a new technology termed as domain keys.This technology which helps check authenticity of emails will be provided to yahoo mail account holders in the coming weeks. Read more about domain keys here
Most Phishing emails pretend to be from genuine sites and seek information from people. This data is later misused.
Yahoo is joining hands with several firms including auction site EBay and its Paypal unit to prevent Phishing attacks as hackers constantly use the names EBay and Paypal to trick people.
