Americans willing to pay more than British for In Rainbows Album

In RainbowsRadiohead released their new album “In Rainbows” recently. This is the first time ever in the history of music industry where downloader’s were in control of the price of the album. Yea, that’s right; downloader’s pay how much ever you want to pay for the album and majority downloaded it for free.

ComScore reported that 62% downloader’s of the new Radiohead album downloaded it for free. From the 38% who actually paid for the album, Americans paid more when compared to British (how cool is that!). Click here to read more.

These numbers show an unhealthy trend about the buyers who like to download the music for free (no wonder every P2P software is popular on internet.), this is something music industry should be really worried about.

However, later did not agree with the information provided by ComScore and said "it is impossible for outside organisations to have accurate figures on sales", click here to read more.
