Google Announced Android. GPhone In India? Not Yet!

GPhone Where is my GPhone? That’s exactly what Goolge’s latest post on its official blog read. As stated on the blog, Goolge never intended to release a Phone but was working on a free mobile platform called “Android” which will enhance user experience by offering rich and never seen before features.

Goolge also stated that the SDK will be released for the developers in about a week’s time so that they can develop applications which will run on certain mobile phone released in the second half of 2008.

It took about 6 months for iPhone to come to India which is still unofficial and probably illegal. So I am expecting GPhones loaded with Android to show up in India by 2008 ending.
