Microsoft Offers Internet Explorer 7 For All

Internet Explorer It is interesting to know that Microsoft in an unprecedented move has offered to all users including those running pirated versions of windows OS.

The new version of the popular browser was released last year and until now had restricted it to those who could prove that they had a legitimate OS.

Earlier, all users had to undergo a validation test before getting .However, the company changed its mind the other day and made available to all windows users. It can now be downloaded from the site:

This is the first time has given up on the validation check for a major product. Users feel that this change must be due to the growing popularity of Firebox.

    It's a desperate attempt to stop people from embracing FF. The initial ploy was to use it as a vehicle to block out all pirated versions, but then that has been shelved fearing users will embrace Ubuntu or SUSE.
