How to Browser Faster on FireFox

FireFox
FireFox is one of the best browser I have ever used. The tab browsing and the idea of adding extensions to the browser kills the competition in the race for the best browser. Microsoft did copy the Tab Browsing feature in IE 7, but they are not good at copying either(any way this post is not about how worse Microsoft is).

FireFox is faster than almost all the browsers available out there but there is always room for improvement. Follow the steps below to improve the browsing speed in

  1. Open FireFox
  2. In address bar type "about:config" and hit enter key
  3. In "Filter" type in "Network.http.pipelining"
  4. In the list you should see "network.http.pipelining" and "network.http.pipelining.maxrequests"
  5. Double click on "network.http.pipelining" and make sure the "Value" is changed from "False" to "True"
  6. Double click on "network.http.pipelining.maxrequests" and in the pop-up box change the number from "4" to "10"

Restart your FireFox
