Yahoo and Reliance(India) have tied the knot to provide Reliance mobile users with Yahoo IM mobile service on the move.  is said to be the world’s first ever service provider to offer IM across Java, BREW and WAP phones.

This service is no different from the online IM service. Users can either use this service to communicate and chat with other users or with their friends on the internet. This is certainly a huge step towards providing a real experience but there is a long way to go in this direction.
