Sony VAIO G: World’s lightest Laptop ever made!

Worlds Lightest Laptop Things are certainly not the same since when I bought my HP zd7260us (it’s an elephant). Laptops have become really portable since then, and Sony’s VAIO G last week re-defined the definition of portability. VAIO weighs mere 1.98 pounds or 0.90 kilograms which makes this the worlds lightest laptop with all the advance features like biometric fingerprint reader, WiFi, etc.

With screen size 12.1 inches, up to 1.5GB of DDR2 RAM, 80GB HDD and a DVD burner the price is set at around US$ 1,800 and will first sell in Japan early next year.

So who do you think is desperatly trying to make a mark in this category and come up with another lightweight laptop?
