I downloaded the latest version of Free Sound Recorder to test it again.. and it works perfectly for me. I did test and record sound coming off the sound card, so it works. The 'volume'and 'balance' is set to zero and cannot be increased though the record button works. So what you get is an excellent copy of total silence! Free Sound Recorder doesn't work!
